Uhh yea, you've basically turned a nice laptop into a junk job....Thank the lord you didn't do that to a XPS Gen 2 or a 9300...

Did you use a sharpy and some sandpaper?

Yeah that's exactly what I did...

Just because you don't like the style doesn't mean that the work isn't good, jeesh.

not bad look it's kool

Awesome custom job! I certainly like the design...it has a post-apocalyptic style to it. Unlike most people who buy premade designs (like me), you've totally made yours unique. Certain people will definitely pay top dollar for that kind of skills.

Oh....and kudos for handling all the "constructive criticism" shot your way =)

Actually he can just buy a new shell for 20 bucks on ebay, and hes good, that goes for warranty, and for Re-selling

It's so true... I just don't understand how removing and/or replacing any piece of plastic "voids" a warranty... Now if I had applied AS to the heatsinks, overclocked, overvolted, pin-modded, etc., then I could see a "void"... But not with plastic that is already "known" to have issues such as not standing up to everyday use...

Never said it was a 9300... I really wouldn't want to "lug" a 9300 or XPS*.* around... The 6000 is heavy enough...
