9860 problem with shutdown after battery counts down to zero with machine plugged in.

Anyone have this problem? My laptop just started doing this, the battery and power supply get hot as hell and the machine displays the battery slowly going down in charge, once it reaches zero, the machine shuts off... Doh! Even with the power plugged in, it discharges and shuts off. It will not run without the battery in, and if I leave it off, it eventually charges back to 100, but boots up to windows and starts counting down again. This a bad battery? Bad power supply? Or a bad laptop?

I had that, and Sager RMA'd my battery, I'll be receiving my new one tomorrow. I'll post up whether that was the problem or not.

Welp, that didn't do anything. The guys from Sager sent me a new battery (even though they tested the other one, and it worked correctly) to see if that would do anything, nothing. Now this battery is stuck at charging 26%, so on my next trip up to the in-laws I'm gonna stop by and they're gonna check out my machine. But I did get my new Lightscribe DVD burner (works great, faster than the DVD burner on my desktop machine), but have to actually by some LS enabled DVD's to try out.
