So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...
Lenovo Thinkpad W530 Review

One of the longest and most enduring brands in computers is Thinkpad. Originally developed by IBM in the USA, Thinkpad notebook computers are now...
I think it is 128 vid ram and with hypertransport from the system memory you can get another 128. I have a 7510GX series with a 3700+ 64bi and x600 and it does what I just stated.
I was under the impression that dedicated video RAM is better than shared system video memory. From their own description of "ATI Mobility Radeon X600 Graphics":
"with 128MB HyperMemory (total of local and shared system memory used by GPU; local onboard memory is 64MB); S-video and VGA outputs"
So from that I presume it has 64 MB of dedicated video memory and uses 64 MB of system (shared) memory. (But it does have a GIG of RAM, so maybe that is not so bad.)
I got this laptop.... it's good .... but just like on any power house the 8 cell battery only gives you 2 hours of portability.... retail stores are real sh!t heads when it comes to returning products......other than that i'm happy .... it's a good desktop replacement for a wireless home network..... I used to work with laptops on road... wouldn't recommend taking such laptops on road unless it' s a toughbook....the retail or online consumer laptop market is targeted for home users.
That's a true monster!!
why don't put an AMD 64 in a 17" LCD model? and add the 256 M 6800 go video card I'll choose them without any hesitating.
WHY, WHY....

Well, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Intel has something to do with that.
