I am compiling some data for everyone and seeing how well your laptop is performing for you.

rate from 5-1, 5 being very good reliablility, and 1 from worst reliability.

Also leave comments about ur particular laptop, Specs, and problems (if any).

Thanks,

The only problem I had with it

Was man made...ac power accidently disconnected when I was moving it. Thought something serious happened when it all of a sudden shut down, had it only 2 weeks. Then I noticed that the battery light was dead...had been using it for about hour (batteries were not at full charge either). Then I saw the ac plug on the floor, plugged it in and was back in business.

Other than that No Problem at all.

Having own'd two of them, I have been quite happy with the performance and in the case that something did happen, Hypersonic was quick to fix the problem. On my GX-7, I had a noisy DVD drive shortly after receiving it. They painted a new drive and shipped it to me - no cost. Painted because my systems are painted metallic red. I was also plagued with the artifacting that a lot of the same model (Sager, etc) owners had and they replaced the motherboard and graphics card to fix that.

With my EX7, the only issue I had was my SATA drive died and they were on top of replacing that one also..... until the real, non-Hypersonic event happened. The mysterious send something through the mail and it vanishes deal. I didn't pay $5k to see a magic trick, but somebody thought I had.

That's right... my nice, awesome system, disappeared between the military post office in Germany and Hypersonic in NY (NY being the same state that the military post offices from Europe come into). I had insurance and I am making them either cough up the money or the system, but this sucks big time. Strange thing is... I shipped 9 other boxes and all 9 of them made it here... except the system.

So if you run across a Biohazard EX7 out there, beat the crap out of the person who has it. Ok... that was mean - frustration showing.

That aside - if I have to buy another one - it will be Hypersonic for the third great system.

No complaints here. Actually had to goto Chicago this weekend for work, so walking thru airport security I had to take out the lappie and put it in one of those little plastic thingys so they could scan it. MY GOD the whole operation stopped everyone wanted to look at it and touch it. It was quite funny, one guy actually wanted to open it and turn it on.

Anyway I have had zero problems with the laptop just some good old user errors, other than that it works and may I say works well.
