I am compiling some data for everyone and seeing how well your laptop is performing for you.

rate from 5-1, 5 being very good reliablility, and 1 from worst reliability.

Also leave comments about ur particular laptop, Specs, and problems (if any).

Thanks,

It has never crashed on me or did anything random so far (5 months) so I gave my 9300 a 5/5 for being reliable.

No problems here since March with my 9300. I think it will turn out to be reliable.

i6000d with no real issues since April. Had some minor problems, but I blame those on Windows and other software. No hardware issues

6th Dell in 4 years...awesome

No real problems for me, either. I called Dell about the heat produced and received exemplary service, but the change didn't do anything and I didn't really expect it to. It was more of a test for me to see how Dell service would work.

5/5 on my M60 for sure.

Going on nine years with never a serious problem (meaning no hardware from Dell has Ever failed for me).

Had one Sony VAIO and it went back to Sony twice in its one year warranty.

MysticGolem, you must be researching in the various forums, is this for personal or corporate interest ?

You had the same poll in the IBM forum.

TIA

My Inspiron 4100 has lasted 4 years and still going strong. Only hardware problems were a dead LCD on arrival and sent it back to replace keyboard and touchpad on the 3rd year under warranty. The tab key was getting sticky and the touchpad was acting up.
