Nvidia -> ATII have now received my new ATI 128MB video card, to replace the failed nVidia card. This means my computer works again, but the warranty is to my knowledge still void. Why on earth does it take Dell two weeks to get any spare part forward (in Europe anyway). In stock spares, I could have cycled to the storage facility and back in the time it took them to deliver it. This was the case both for my built in Bluetooth card/cable, as well as for the video card mentioned above. But for some reason, if you have the 24-hour warranty, they can have the part the next day!
I HATE Dell for this and all the other irritating, arrogant policies they have. This will be the last Dell I own for sure!
