NP9860 SATA drivers for MS Vista beta 2...

I am able to install MS Vista beta 1 with the standard SATA WinXP drivers that come with the NP9860 laptop, but MS Vista beta 2 will not recognize the drivers, therefore telling me I have no hard drive. I also tried the latest SATA drivers for the NP9860 on www.sagernotebooks.com site. Any clues how I can get this to work anyone?

Maybe check the chipset manufacturer's driver page,ie intel, via, what have you. I run all the intel chipset drivers on my 5690.

Thanks for the reply... I just found out that the Beta 2 release ("Beta 1 Refresh") has a flaw where it cannot load SATA and other various drivers correctly on installation, so I am SOL until the REAL Beta 2 comes out.

Any one know of any Vista Beta 1 64bit drivers for the SATA on a 9880?

in Beta 1, All (well ALMOST All) windows XP drivers work, you may have to manually update drivers, but it works. so use the windows XP x64 drivers for the sata in beta1 Vista, and I currently run the "beta 1 refresh" as i have seen it called, (that is not even close to what it is, but that's something else) the PDC05 build of vista, and the only issues i have (no i don't run RAID, just ReG SATA) are graphical. which i have most bugs that can be worked out, well worked out.
i guess that's what i get for having everying beta, and tweaked to high hell
