OC the 7800CTX is easy, but too keep the temp down is hard....
I am using 81.84 and did not bother to try 81.87. I have read about ppl having problem with that driver, so I stick with 81.84 since I have no problem with it at all.
OC isn't necessary for CSS or HL2 if you are runnning a 7800 GTX, but with 800 points gain on 3DMark05 with simple OC isn't a bad deal at all. I just do CO have a fun thing to do. I am retire from OC on my desktop years ago.... big heatsink with loud fans, water cool, even refrug cooling....etc. Now, I am really enjoy my notebook which I can save some space and don't worry about most things I would do in OC world.
