With Sager there can be no doubts that PCTorque will do this and their prices are competitive and their ratings are great.
The Sager NP5320 is a whole 3 weeks old, hence the lack of extensive reviews.

the sager is about 1-1.5 pounds heavier. thats probable the only downside. It has a better video card, higher res screen.

they are both almost the same width and the sager is .5" deeper(due to the multimedia thing). the sager is also about .2 inches thicker, not a big deal. It has a camera and 7.1 sound. it is $50 cheaper even with the 1920x1200 lcd.

will test for food....

getting my 5320 on friday and while I'm not a professional tester i do take directions well, and I get do get paid to fix these things. I am willing to run tests and answer any questions I can about the machine. This board, and some others, really helped me with my decision and if I can help someone else I'm down wit that

Doc, Thanks for the offer. For me I really want to know what you think of the display - DVD, games and Internet. I suppose we should treat you to an Asus Z70va so you can draw a comparison....lol! If you play FPS games it would be good to know how you think they perform - Half Life 2, Far Cry etc. Thanks again.

alright, as soon the asus comes i will start the battle! The wee beasty comes tomorrow and I am salivating in anticipation. Have 3dMark 03 and 05 plus Farcry and Painkiller for the weekend. Unfortunately work will probably interfere with my testing/gaming but I will have some benchmarks posted by Monday or Tuesday.

Anyone know the link to the Pi Calculator?

Oh and Doc please let me know if it will take the weight of a ten pound Chihuahua (with 4 legs of course!). Seriously please let us know what you think of the sturdiness of the notebook. Thanks.

Get the 1.4 Mod one... It gives you speed down to the milisecond not just seconds like the normal version.

fot the 1.4 modded Pi, will test to what, 2million? Sounds good will do that plus ren ref's against my home pc (see sig). Just got the new toy and it looks pretty slick but it is much larger than I expected. Took some packaging pics and will run tests soon.

Oh, and while it would probably hold a good-sized terrier I sure as hell would not let him on! :')

the SuperPi tests can test anywhere from 16k to 32mill IIRC... most people do the 2Mill because it shows cpu and mem performance without taking too long *the fastest 32mill I can remember right now is around 23 min.*
