Got it at the right time.

I just odered my 3880-v for 1495 and now i see it went up to 1561, lucky me . Got in just under the price change .

Congrats Was it a special or something?

I would have gotten an XPS laptop because of a limited-time price reduction, but I waited too long so got my other choice, and 8790, instead. Glad I made the move now. I like Dells but this is one sweet machine.

I have a bad taste in my mouth about Dell now with the way they did me with the 5150 I had.

I had it for a year and 2 months and the things motherboard died and they wanted me to pay 500 bux to replace the motherboard. When the problem is a known fact that the motherboard is flawed.

Hate to say it; but you might consider buying an extended warranty because, a Sager, will also only honor a 12 month warranty period regardless of the failure cause. Nothing new here.
