Installing the Nvidia Drivers

I read that you need to insert a modified inf file to get the actual nvidia's to run.

Can anyone walk me through how this works?

I have the drivers on my desktop ready to be clicked and run.

I place that inf where exactly?

And when I uninstall the existing drivers I assume from prior experience that that is when I need to install the new ones right?

Biggest problem right now is figuring out where to place that Inf for the drivers.

Download the inf you require here, http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?act=idx

Extract the Driver from your desktop to C:\Temp\Nvidia or whatever.... replace the inf file with the 1 you got from laptopvideo2go and run setup


too easy
