Task manager process triming?

i just got my computer and i have 52 processes that are running when the i turn the computer on... how do i trim that down and how do i know which ones to end and which ones to keep? i heard of some people with 22.. can someone help me out with that?

if that doesnt make sense... i am talken about Ctrl Alt Delete bottom left...

Those should help you. Check out all the links. Read up on the stuff and it should help you a lot. The two links I posted to Sysinternals are for VERY good tools. And they are FREE which is another plus.
