Yes of course if i had to compare IBM , they are probably the best out there , even better than Asus , but the lack of "Cool design" and High performance laptops , wont attract the majority of "average user" their laptop are more buisness oriented and thats what they want , and they"ve been doing that in an amazing way .
About Msi , well it would be similar to Uniwill , it's an unknown to most of the "average customer" (mostly known on the video card market) but still doing a great job with their laptop , higly reliable nice built , and then again a bit better than dell
And like Dell4Freak said , in the article they said that this shipping option was for low end computer , so if you order your 3000$ xps , then you might get your shipping free of charge at home ....
And about those 299$ computers , well i do agree that for most of us here , those computers are not interesteing and completly useless , but for families that are less fortunate , this is a great way to get a computer...
