I am very happy to say that I WILL ORDER sometime this week. Now tryingh to decide between 9300 and D810. I like the size of the D810, but I heard the D810 has a maintenence issue where to repair something you gotta remove the screen. 9300 has great video but back- breaking size. I am still willing to live with the size. Please give me the Pros/Cons of each of these machines and tell me more about D810 maintenance issue and 9300 size.

I say D810 because of the smaller size, but you said you could live with the bigger size. Anyhow, you should get a decent warranty so that if any repairs need to be done, and the thing about the screen is true (I've never heard that, and I don't see why that would be true, but I'm not sure), Dell will do the repairs instead of you.

Depends on 2 main things:
1) how much do you want the 6800 gpu rather than the X600?
2) how important the size of the screen is, both negatively and positively. If you want the bigger screen of course you also have to carry it when carrying is needed. You can't have it both ways.

I agree with Freak4Dell that maintenance should not be an issue. If you get 3 year Complete Care then you are covered. If you don't, you are risking huge costs in the life of the machine. As for likelihood of repairs, many components are of equal quality, but most reports would suggest that the D810 build is superior. On the other hand the i9300 has a bigger chasis and probably runs a little cooler.

I bet you will love either machine and appreciate its distinct virtues. Whatever you choose, sometimes you will wish you had the other.

I think about 900,000 of those were actually started by Isuzu_Trooper . Anyway, I say get the 9300. Sick graphics, nice screen, moderate (though not overbearing) size. It's a great laptop. Hope this helps.

YOU wont believe the density of it, while still sturdy. Yes it looks huge when u first open it till u realize how light it is, and still stiff and solid. When u here people compliment it and how nice it looks, and how wonderfull the big screen etc, you feel you made the right choice.

I don't know about Isuzu_Trooper, but for me, it would simply be about the size of the system, not the weight.

Dude. You should do it soon before the 25% off coupons expire or run-out.
