Pentium-M ?ATX Desktop Motherboards

I've searched Google, anandtech, gamepc and many other places for these motherboards and the only ones I can find are:

AOpen i915GMM-HFS Alviso
DFI 855GME-MGF

AOpen does offer a motherboard based on the i855 chipset, but alas it is still the same as the DFI one with no PCI-Express nor DDR2, let alone Dual Channel DDR facilities.

Lets face it, there are no other suitable motherboards which offer s479 funcionality, apart from 2 ASUS boards which need a funky adapter & BIOS update (plus they're full sized ATX boards which rule them out for my needs).

My goal is to create a P-M based HTPC (main reason is the low power consumption and low heat generated from these chips), but of course the 855 chipset doesnt have PCI-E which will make it practically obsolete the moment I buy it.

Now, this leaves the AOpen as the ONLY motherboard with the Alviso chipset, and I'm a bit hesitant on getting it as from what I've researched, the stock cooler is pretty dire and there isn't much scope to fitting a P4/A64 cooler due to the different socket sizes and mounting holes.

Does anyone know if DFI will be releasing an Alviso mobo in the next couple of months, or any other Manufacturer for that matter.

A P-M Desktop (or HTPC) would be great, it just seems that no-one is looking at this possiblity seriously, as there are so few motherboards out there (last count, 3 with native s479).

What do you guys think???

That's pretty much it. If you want a P-M desktop, your options are very limited and you're going a pay a premium for it.

Ahh but I think the extra money is worth it in a HTPC, low power consumption, less heat generated. Seeing as I'm going to have this on most of the time, the lower electricity bills would be welcome.

I did look at the A64 with their cool & quiet facility, but unfortunately the wattage jumps by around 100w when it's under load... too much!
