Any ideas (dead laptop)

I picked my ZE4430 laptop up the other day and tried to turn it on and nothing happens.

I've tried to power it up on AC only, with battery only, and both. The laptop does absolutely nothing. Not a peep, nor light.

I've tried reseating everything (RAM, harddrive, CD drive).
The charge gauge on the battery shows full charge.

This is odd and I dont know what it means, the green light on the power supply brick pulses when it's plugged into the laptop.

Any ideas? Is it worth fixing? I bought a replacement already (still in the mail) and was thinking that this would be a decent computer for my daughter if it won't cost too much to fix.

I would say you have a bad motherboard... Its an older system so you may or may not want to replace it depending on costs... The power brick thing im not sure aabout...

Take out the battery, hold down the power button 30 seconds and then plug in the AC. It could be a bios problem as well.

I guess I'll just part it out on Ebay.

Or look for a new systemboard on ebay... Because chances are you will find one for a good price...
