The old Area-51m is made from the same base model (Clevo 5600D) as the Sager 5660. There exists no official bios for enabling HT. The latest official bios is 1.02.07. Sager and many resellers never did go beyond 2.8 non-HT on this model, primarily because of heat issues.
I have however made my own bios in order to enable hyper-threading on this model. I have the same specs as you, and I get 8374 on 3DMark2001se, its the best result I've seen with a mobile radeon 9000 GPU.
You have to be aware of that you are taking a very big risk by using this bios. This is not an official bios version, its a tweaked bios by me. I take no responsibilily for any damages involved with using this bios. My guess is there will be no warranties to cover any damages made, even if they are not related to the bios. I have however used the bios myself now for two months and I havent had any problems at all. There are others as you can read in the thread that have flashed it and they also havent experienced any problems. The only side-effect is when you enable HT you have to disable one of the USB host controllers in device manager in windows, otherwise the cpu will not fully idle. I believe this is a bios/driver problem and I havent bothered to look more deeply into it. This means that only 2 of the 4 usb ports on the back will work, but once again, this is only with HT enabled. You have to be really careful to monitor your computer temperature. Thats why I also made the only program that exists for these computers that can monitor the temp. I also did a program to down throttle the cpu on demand to make it run cooler. I havent had any heat problems at all and now when I also have lapped both the heat sink and cpu and applied Arctic Silver its even cooler than before. Every computer is still unique, there is one guy in who have posted in the thread that had heat problems running his 3.06 even with stock bios in non-HT mode.
The thread you should read is this
, its a very long thread but there are lots of useful info for you. A direct link to the post with the bios to download is here

thread interesting, its about a new software I'm developing.
