So I ordered my Gateway 505XL and I should get it on Friday.
As luck has it, I will be travelling to Europe one week later and obviously would like to play with my new toy all the time while stuck on the airplane. I am flying AA and they tell me that they have "cigarette lighter" type powerports. I called Gateway to find out what adapter is compatible, and they are only telling me about the 120W Targus model, which runs about $130.

My question to the experts: How do I know for sure if an adapter is compatible with my new laptop and where can I find one that does not set me back that much? I've seen some Kensington adapter that says it supports Gateway, but the 505 is not listed (maybe just too new?) and runs around $70.
