Which CPU for 9300?

Here in germany i have only 2 options:

the 1.86GHz p-M
or the 2.26Ghz p-M for 300€ extra

i don't know if it's wise to spend so much money on the cpu, because i have a limit of ~1700€. so i have the choaice between taking a 1.8ghz based laptop with an extra audigy2zs and 2Gb ram, or simply a 2.26Ghz laptop with only 512MB.

How fast dis the 1.86Ghz model.

in my old desktop i have had a 2.0Ghz AMD64 overclocked at 2.4Ghz. (and a x800XT-PE, 2 Gigs of ram). I know that the laptop isn't as fast as my old system, but i have no choice, the XPS costs simply too much (2300€).

if for games then 1,86 and 2 gigs of mem will be best. If for photoshop etc 2,26.

ye
go the PM 750, the 770 is way to expensive, overkill to the max!

yeah they are pretty good overclockers : D

the stock speeds is 290/590 but most users can push it to atleast 350/700 without any problem.. mine runs good at 370/750 but I run at stock atm.. don't need the other power right now.. and yes.. go for the 1.86Ghz cpu : D it roxx.. and much cheaper.

1GB of ram is enough for me since I know how to optimize me system, startups, services and etc...

Most important things is defrag your HDD every 1-2 weeks
