Well back to 4K for long term... I can't go 5K all time because I won't be carrying my Ultra Cooler with me LOL!
the times on this thread are all screwed up

Not having much luck gentlemen, still getting artifacts, so the voltage increase is giving me (so far at least) no useable performance increase

I have capitulated and reset to stock voltages.........I'll try again when I have futuremark installed

Good luck!

5500 AMAZING... YOU'VE CONVINCED ME TO GO FOR IT I have to wait till tonight cauz I don't have any cd's to burn at the momment... stuck at school till next class... Finally I have something that make those Laptop users on OCforums drool over...

I don't really deal much with boot disks cauz I like never need em... this is a rare situation for me... How would I go about makin my comp boot off of my flash drive???

man I'm gonna have to bust out my custom lappie cooler out of the closet...(uses a 92mm tornado)... Ah man i gotta get new resistors for it... the last ones caught fire (note to self use 10w resistors instead of 1/2w)

hmm dunno...

well at least no ones computer broke.

Maybe you need XPS 2 bios to run it at 1.38v....
Yea maybe.. and this will make me buy a 130W powerbrick and etc.. + the Dell BIOS is not reversible.

Yeah it is.
I have a 130 W powerbrick already. I bet you don't need the BIOS Flash to run 1.38volts.
BUT! I do need a laptop cooler

Updated orignal post.

Or a 6800go Ultra heatsink.
In between... I have something different then some of the cards.. I have NV41M instead of NV42.. Also I think NV41M will have a higher clocking.
Last Warning..

The ~5500 score was the 10 min run including the 3DMark05 score and then I reboot and when back to 4K score because I don't want my notebook to be busted.

Those clocks are setted in the BIOS not the application or programs (By using the BIOS clock, you may be able to surpass the application limits.

So, running this high is not recommended. I was trying to see how the card can be pushed.

Try keeping your core at 438 but bump your memory down to 750 see if that takes the artifacts away.
Eventually it will.

I also forgot to tell my temp.

Stressing with ATITool | ~360FPS | Max Temp 83'C ... Very HOT + scary

Getting up to ultra status!!!
Even I am able to get to close to Ultra status... I am missing a few thing... Copper Heat Sink & One extra cooling pipe. It needs to cool down the GPU for sure on the run without the Ultra Cooler Deck for notebook.

Interesting how you got 5500 at your clocks that are much lower then mine.

I'm at 485/1250 and I get about 5700 with the driver set to HP.

mmzmaster,

I'd be interesting in knowing how high ATi Tool will go if you click Find Max Core and Find Max Mem. Forget Coolbits use ATi Tool (latest beta build)
