Hi
So i dont read the whole thread yet - but the first post is definitely wrong

Just read the official nibitor manual at
http://www.mvktech.net/content/view/2069/37/1/5/
Last paragraph:
* Voltage Table Entries: Here you can edit the entries of the voltage table, or even add new entries if you see there is enough space for them. An entry consist of a label eg. "1.3V" as identifier for the driver and the actual VID eg. "03" which is set to the voltage regulator. You must note that the voltage label is not responsible for the output voltage, it is only used by the driver to select correct VID.
You only changed the name of that voltage but not the voltage itself - it will remain at the normal value and will not change to the name of the voltage.
If you really want to change the internal voltage of the card you have to change the VID - but nobody knows the correct values of the VIDs - so it is a game of try and error

For example peter-pan changed the VID from 06 (stands for 1,3 V on a 7800 Go) to 04 and the card is less overclockable than at 1,3 V but more overclockable than at 1,1V - so the new voltage must be between this values, about 1,2V.
If you flashed your card to a renamed 1,38 Voltage your card will still run at 1,38V no matter which label you chosed - and 1,38V i too high for a 6800 non ultra with not so good cooling as a 6800 Ultra Go.
Sorry but that whole thread is based on "bullshit"

Just RTFM

and sorry for my bad English
