I have the nvidia geforce go 6800 ultra. Right now it says I have driver version 6.14.. I checked the alienware site for an update but there still isnt one. It has been a really long time that ive been waiting for an update.. im tired of seeing the dark squares around people in battlefield 2 and also that i cant play the age of empires III demo.
i went to the nvidia site and download v78.01 or something like that and it said it couldnt find any drivers for my device when i tried to install it.. i guess its for desktop cards only. i also tried j.clause's driver here on the forum but it caused me some small problems with other games.
so... is there any other drivers i can try? i would prefer an official driver.. but if theres none out there yet then it doesnt matter.. thanks

I have an alienware laptop and its great but i really need an updated video driver.. i cant play the age of empires III demo and i have those dark squares around players in bf2..
so i was wondering if sager has a video driver that fixes these things for the 6800 ultra and also will it work in my alienware notebook? thanks.
just went to sager's site, went to the driver downloads then the NP9880 and im downloading the video driver for nvidia now. before i install i would like to know if its safe to since i have an alienware instead of a sager.. i wouldnt think it matters but i just want to make sure, thanks.
