The Alienware Section *read me*

As everyone must have noticed by now, The Alienware Section has branched out to become its own forum (within talknotebooks).

www.alienwareforums.com will now forward you directly to The Alienware Section.
(You will still be able to access all of TalkNotebooks Forums)

The Alienware Section will also be getting a make-over. New Pictures and Icons and whoknows what other changes that might happen.

Have any ideas?? The only real limitation is that everything must be in a Pro- Alienware fashion. So that would leave out any pictures of you growing a long white beard while waiting for your a51m to arrive. An example of something that can be changed is the "talknotebooks" picture (top left of forum) which is 400x149 pixels. Also the picture of the Sager Notebook. Any ideas will be taken into consideration. The most popular designs will be chosen. The most exotic or something plain. It all starts here:

Aurora,

It would be awesome to see a different "look" on these boards when compared to the rest of the site. I find myself reading in every section but sure would feel good about always returning to our Intergalactic message forums if they had a different vibe than the rest of the site.

I for one would love to see a rocking banner on the top left! Come on all of you creative people, get moving!

It's great to see that the alienware-ers out there have made the Alienware messageboard section bulk up enough to be it's own forum now! great job to those who have contributed!! I'm ready for something fresh, new, and creative bring it on people!!

Well, tell me what you guys think. I think we should have a banner that shows the pics of the cyborg green laptop, and then it would change into an alien smilie face! Huh? What do you think>?

I'm new here but I agree that a change of the look would be a great way to set us off from the original talknotebooks forums. Maybe something a little more futuristic considering we are all alienware junkies. I like the idea about the alien head smiley faces, and replacing the sager/clevo/area51m1 pic with an area51m2 pic. Maybe we could take a vote and see about a color change for the text and background.

That's killer M42 do you think you could make them in the different alienware colors too like so that we can customize our smileys to match our laptops?

Ideas for alienware forum layout

Here they go:

1. Someone had an idea (forgot who) about having the laptop above morph from an alienware green to an alien head and back.

2. Change the color lay so as it reflects the alienware colors of the notebook itself.

3. Someone else had another good idea (forgot who) to convert all the smiley faces to alien faces. This would be a unquie touch.

4. Send me your personal checking account number and pin.

5. Disregard #4 I realized I was in the wrong forum.

I will post more ideas as I get them.
