AutoCAD isn't available for Mac. I don't believe Rhino, Form-Z, or Visio are made for Mac either.
Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, and Excel are made for Mac. There are no real advantages or disadvantages anymore for using a Mac over a PC for design other than the fact that you're almost guaranteed to not have file problems if you use a Mac as most service bureaus still use them for everything.
Otherwise it's down to what software you need to use, and your personal preference. I started on a PC myself, but now I use Macs.
