Would this be covered under warranty.

The hinge for the screen doesn't seem to be as tight as it was.

It is still tight enough that the screen isn't falling down, but I can wobble it back and forth.

Would Alienware be able to fix this and it be covered under warranty? It is not a huge problem, but my warranty is going to expire in 2 months and I spent a lot of money for a laptop that should stay well built for more than a year.

I think if its a defect then it would be covered but if its considered normal wear and tear then it wouldnt be covered. It would be better to call Alienware and talk to a tech about it. They would be the only ones that can determine if it can be sent in under warranty. You can send an Alienware rep a message from here if it makes it any easier.

I have the same problem on the right hinge. Let me know what they say if you talk to them.

Oh, kewl. For whatever that's worth, it's way better than anyone else out there. At least they are getting direct feedback from their customers instead of pulling into a shell.
