Bluetooth + Dell i6000 + Ubuntu?

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 running Ubuntu Hoary. The problem is that the bluetooth communication doesn't work. I activate the internal bluetooth device, by pressing Fn-F2, and the device becomes visible in hciconfig. So far everything seems to work. But when I scan for other bluetooth devices, by running "hcitool scan", no devices are found. I have activated bluetooth on the phone (SonyEricsson T610) and put it into visible mode. My old laptop has no trouble finding the phone.

What is wrong?

The phone is in "discoverable mode" and can be found from another computer with bluetooth.

I'm pretty sure I've found the solution, http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/m...sg_id=10286014

Too bad I don't have Windows on the hd anymore. I guess I have to install it again...

edit: It works!
