Hi All
I'm fully in love with my PB I have had it for a month now and its perfect
Good battery life, beautiful screen etc. Ok ....but ....lets get back to my topic
I have bought a dvd and i want to have it all on my harddrive Haw can i do that For wintendo i used dvd shrink and just rip all 9gb on my HD but haw i can do it on a mac???? IS there any good program for that on tiger??

if you just want to rip the dvd you can use Mac The Ripper

Ok i try Mac the ripper and see if it works ok
I have one more question - the size of my hd is becoming smaller and smaller everyday Why is it happening??? Is it temp files or mayby temporary internet files??? if u could help me with this one First time using mac

You have to empty the trash manually.

Also, as a laptop it's probably not running the nightly scripts, but those cache files the scripts delete shouldn't get big in such a short amount of time.

How much is it getting smaller and smaller by? Also, get MacJanitor. It is just an app in which you can tell your computer to run scripts to clean it up and make it run smoother. These scripts are usually run at night but not everyone leaves there computer on 24/7, especially there notebook.

Week before i had 70.53Gb of free space and since then no new files were dawnloaded or copied and now i have 70.45 mayby the cache ????

Oh god, sweetie, the way you talked about it you were losing oodles of space. That's most likely the paging file.

If you restart the computer the space will be freed. Depending on what you do the paging file can take up to a gig or more sometimes. Mine's currently at a gig.
