pointer pad issue

Dear All,

I sometimes don't unpack the wireless mouse I have setup on my F4005 and end up using the pointer instead. However I find the speed of the pointer to be slow and change it in the control panel. This then works well until restart the laptop and find the settings have reverted.

Why is this? and how do i stop it.

You might want to check the drivers to see if your wireless is resetting the the defaults it has to your pointer. Just go under properties and disable your wireless drivers and unistall any programs the wireless mouse loads.
Control Panel -> Mouse -> Hardware -> "highlight which driver you want disabled" -> General : look at the bottom and under "device usage" disable the device.
