I think your review was excelletn and defiantly not biased. I aggre that notebook is loud due to the fact asus trying to pack everything into a tiny package. This is the reason why many notebook manufactures liek dell still keep there notebooks thick so that it will keep the notebooks cool and quiet. Asus has to learn that it cant copy companies liek apple as they use totally different cpu''s and gpu's. Anyways there isnt a problem with the Asus fans as it needs to be constanly on due to a poor chasis and cooling methods. Also Asus chose the crpaiest fan possible to cool the notebook therefore making it noisy. But i like how you pointed out that it got good battery life and good screen. I love the notebook but the design could do better. I would ahve bought that notebook in a haert beat if they would have just changed the fan in the notebook to a much softer one found in the dell m70.

a.) "Asus has to learn that it cant copy companies liek apple": a substantial proportion of Apple powerbooks are made by Asus. Apple is not primarily a manufacturer, they are primarily an assembler and software designer
b.) "Asus chose the crpaiest fan possible to cool the notebook therefore making it noisy." : According to Justin from ProPortable, one of Asus' leading resellers, all the parts in the Z70va are of substantially high quality
Everyone has their priorities. I'm sure the Dell M70 has a very quiet fan, as that is your priority. Other people have different priorities, and the Z70va appeals to them for various alternative reasons.

IM not saying that the asus z70va is bad the fan does suck as i have peeked inside my friedns asus and it uses a bigger fan which generates more noise than the small fan inside the dell m70. Also Asus deisgn resembles apple design. Actually apples inginers deign the apples then i guess asus makes them. Apple has almways designed most of there computers. Such as the powerbooks, powermacs, imacs.

IM not saying that the asus z70va is bad, in amtter a fact i think its supperior to the dell m70 besides the fan noise. Restating my previous post, the fan does suck as I have looked inside my freinds asus and it uses a bigger fan, which generates more noise than the small fan inside the dell m70. blah de blah de blah, insert incoherent english here. NO COMPRENDE!!

Lets see, bigger fans != more noise. It is possible that the ASUS fan just spins faster, which makes it louder. In fact, larger fans are usually quieter, since they do not have to spin as fast to obtain the same airflow.
