but luke, if the 9890 uses the 6.1, then wouldnt sager be only using 6.1s when you started selling the 9890s? or does sager purposely replace broken mobos with outdated mobos, in order to make us pay more to upgrade?

Well its not really an outdated motherboard..it works with the current card you have. Your still under warranty and they have a turn around time they try to keep when under warranty. If you wait for new motherboard, you could be waiting another two or three weeks.. Is the new mother board backward compatiable with the 6800? I don't know..maybe someone else does..
