anywhere that sells battary that will work with 51m ?

Sup everyone,
I bought the addition battary and was wondering if it really is worth the 98bux they have on there site or someone knows a cheaper place for it?

I took a look on Uniwill's site (the ODM for the Area51m's) and could not find accessories for sale anywhere. Here is the link to the actual machine: http://www.uniwill.com/Product/N766/N766.html

Have a look around but I don't see add ons :-( The one issue I see IF they sold batteries would be the color would not match your machine if you had Green or Blue. Also, I'm not sure that Uniwill's battery (from this site) is using the 8800 battery. As you can see by the specs here, what you get from Alienware is actually more machine. For example, the AW uses a UXGA Screen while this one is an SXGA screen. So on and so forth...

Battery

I bought the extra battery. I don't think its really worth it if your always near an outlet. I have found that I never even use it. (My battery's "trim" is black, and I purchased the cyborg green system. Did anyone else with cyborg green or blue system get an extra battery where the trim doesn't match? My main battery's trim does match just not my extra one.)

they dont stock extra batteries in colors.

My assumption is that they send out the cases to be painted with the batteries in them...hence, no painty paint on extra battery :-(

Craig is probably right about them sending out the cases to be painted with the batteries in them but I bet you can find someone to paint the trim on the extra battery for you for next to nothing or call Alienware and see if the can have it done.

Yup, the extra battery is not painted--at least mine wasn't. O-well.
