Thats a really good review, thanks for pointing this out. I can't wait to get my new system with this card in it and run the heck out of it.

I have to agree - I can't wait to see this card in action either. Once I get the USPS to fess up and reimburse me for my missing system, I shall implement the third purchase of a system from Hypersonic and it will definitely have that card in it. Just haven't decided on whether I am going with Intel or AMD. Makes a difference on how much I get reimbursed.

Good catch of the review.

Did I miss something over the past month? Did USPS lose your EX7 system on your return to the USA? That had to be AWFUL if that was the case.

Yeah. I had shipped it to Hypersonic for the upgrade to the ultra and it never arrived. Checked with USPS and they have no idea what to say. I ended up insuring it for $5k, so I am covered, but I am a bit upset - no doubt about it. Not to mention - I have data on there.

So... I am basically waiting on them to get their stuff together so I can make my next order. Sucks -but such is life. SO instead of getting an upgrade to the 6800, I will be getting a 7800.

I hope everything works out. They can be slow and stubborn in forking over that insurance money. I know you considered the Red Python Special Edition. If you do not go with that, are you going for another solid red based system?

That is what I am thinking. Mostly because I have a custom painted mouse and keyboard from the last system. But I have also been toying with a purple color as well. As of late, the purple has become a new favorite color of mine - for pens and the sort. So will see.

In any case, whatever I get, I will be sure to pimp it out as much as possible.

LOL. It would be interesting to see the Opulent Purple paint on this system. I do not think I have seen any pictures of anyone ordering the purple system. As far as the mouse / keyboard, on this system I went ahead and ordered the Logitech DeNovo combo and sent it off to be painted as well, even though I will probably never use the keyboard. The Logitech MX900 Bluetooth mouse, however, has been my mouse of choice now for over 2 years.

Geez I would be pissed. Some USPS employee has a nice laptop to play with now... Did you have anything important on the laptop you don't want people to get access to? I would change all you passwords especially if you had auto complete on for IE.
