The article is from TomsHardware. Looks cool, but only for those with the 945 cipset and higher - otherwise a new mobo is required. Is AMD doing the same with two cores in the same socket or are they separate?

*ducks all the blasts from AMD supporters*

It's basically the same thing. Two cores on one processor. The only Dual Processor capable systems are Opteron and Xeon.
