FS: Sager 3790 with Many Extras

I am looking to sell my Sager 3790 with the specs in my sig. It would not include the sound blaster audigy 2. I paid $2300 for this laptop back in February and it has recently been maintenanced by Sager and has a new DVD-RW drive. There is nothing wrong with this laptop and few to no scratches. I can also guarantee that if something goes wrong with it, you can send it either back to me or Sager and get it fixed from now till the warranty is over in February. I'd like anywhre from 1300-1400. Make me an offer.

Edit: Forgot to mention, its kinda important. There is one stuck pixel in the bottom left of screen but if you just touch it (like rub/tap it) it goes away. Most of the time it is normal but every once in a while it pops red and you touch it and it goes away. As you can see in my Quake 4 shot, there is no stuck pixel because it rarely comes up.

not to thread crap, you laptop is worth 1200-1300 max. When you can buy a Dell 9300 with a better screen, and GPU, for 200-300 more tops. Also you must post a firm price.

bump...I am actually looking to sell this now. I am asking 1300-1400 US and it will come with all the things in my sig except for the backpack and the soundcard. I will include a keyboard if wanted. I also have a Targus neoprene sleeve that will come with it. I accept Paypal and shipping will be 25 US. This item still has a warranty until February 2006 but if wanted I bet I could get a longer one.

Can you post some pics please? Thanks.

Ok. Here are some pics. Some are blurry because no flash and any movement is detected w/ slow shutter speed. Anyways, I love this laptop and hate to see it go. It works perfectly and even plays Quake 4 w/ not bad FPS. If you configure the game right w/ lower settings you can get it up to 60 FPS. I can also reformat or do whatever you like.

Fixed the pictures. Apparently my photo hoster was taken down. FoShizzy I just can't go that low. The new 3880 and 5320 may have a base of 1400 but if you config them to my specs you will find out that a 9300 Dell would cost about 1924, the 3880 would be 1852 and the 5320 would be 1939. 1225 is really not that bad seeing as how those others cost way more. I know that the graphics cards in those is better but the 9700 128mb can play most games right now anyways.

Not trying to thread crap but saying the 9300 is 1900 is just plain false. Lets see how much you can get the 9300 for. Got these prices from dell and pctorque.com.

Where did you get these numbers from???

Dell 9300 for 1924.00 Actual cost 1212.00 plus shipping
Sager 5320 for 1939.00 Actual cost 1481.00 plus shipping
Sager 3880 for 1852.00 Actual cost 1388.00 plus shipping

Seriously where did you get these numbers from cause I think you just made them up thinking I would believe it. If you get 1300 for that laptop you must of found a freekin moron to buy it off you.

Im sorry you paid too much for your laptop almost a year ago but dont take it out on your possible buyers. Good luck with your sell but I would offer you 1000 plus shipping and not a penny more. Why would I pay 1300.00 for a laptop that is almost a year old when I can get a new one for the prices above.

Come to grip with reality brotha cause your not gonna get that much for your lappy. If you do I would like to know who the jackass is you sold it to.

Again good luck.

Good job with the thread crapping. I own a 3790 and I considered the 9300 but I dont like dell for my own reasons. A lower price would help a faster sell but I wouldnt consider the buyer a "jackass."

Thread crap at it's finest.

Well...FoShizzy if you noticed those laptops ARE NOT OF THE SPECS MY LAPTOP ARE. THAT WAS MY POINT! I could have gotten a 3790 for 1400 but it would have sucked. The point of those prices are to prove that the specs on my laptop are good and when you compare it to the price of new laptops with the specs of mine, it will not be 1200-1400. Get your facts straight and listen.
i support you, great laptop you got there. and to foshizzi, if you live in ca, you have to pay tax which is like 100 more plus 24 handling fee

So you got the 2.0 CPU, 1 gig RAM, and 7200 HD and thats why your asking so much. Huh....but you got he 9700 vs. X700 and 6600. Kind of a toss up to me but oh well.

Maybe I jumped down your throat a little to much bro. My bad on the thread crapping. I still think your asking little to much but its all good with me.

Good luck with the sell.

I understand where your coming from but if you read closer you can avoid mishaps. I know the graphics card is obviously not as good but when you compare it to the fact that its still a 128mb card that can play Quake 4 and BF2 w/ great specs and the other high performance parts like 2.0 Dothan, 1 gig w/ 1 dimm, and 60 gb 7200 hd, w/ 2 batteries that both have not been used that much, its not that expensive. BTW, I rarely used this laptop so there is basically no battery loss and almost always, it was plugged in and if it wasn't it was being used to watch movies. All in all, its a great laptop and I am sad to see it go. I researched on these forums for 8 months before deciding that the 3790 was right for me and is by far my favorite Sager laptop (well...besides 3880...lol).

Enjoy, also 1200 Shipped

Also, I bought my laptop from DiscountLaptops.com and back in February 2300 was not a lot for the 3790 considering it had just come out and it was actually cheaper from them than PCTorque.com. You have to realize that the reason the 3880 is cheap now is because the parts are "outdated" and the only real change to the 3880 is the GPU and the GPU in the 3880 is not that much better anyways. 1200 shipped is in my opinion a great deal but you decide.
