This is the new ipod

I personally dont like this new ipod i think that it looks too large.
I especiialy hate it how they have gotten rid of their old ipod only Huge, nano or shuffle

Blegh. I could care less about video playback on an MP3 player. I think the big thing with the 5G's is that black ones are now available.

Is it Wednesday again? I wonder what next week's new model will be. Self cleaning, maybe, to get the goo from watching those 2" movies off? And yes, I realize this thread is a coupla weeks old.

Anyone buy a video ipod yet? If so, how long does the battery last for videos for the 30GB model? apple's site claims 2 hours but I want to make sure apple is correct. TIA

the new ipods are only a tiny bit wider, but they are slimmer than the old ones aren;t they? personally i would only consider a nano. the video ipods can only play the video you buy, correct? it won't play divx or anything to my understanding... tho i am sure someone will hack that.

I have a 40 gig 4th gen that I have in a docking station for my staff to use, a six gig mini in my car hooked to my Apline headunit by an interface (which your non Ipod can't do), and a brand new Nano. My wife has a 4 gig mini in her car also connected to her stereo via an interface.

Ipod still pwns all other mp3 players at this point.

To me, the big thing about the 5th Generation Ipods is that there is a black one. I can't stand the look of the white one. The nano was too small for my taste. I ended up getting a U2 edition with color screen.

The U2 edition is flippin sweet. Ewolff really likes the big black ones because it reminds him of that fuzzy pickle in his pants that gerlz describe in terms of being equivilent to big and black.

The nano screen is too small, not enuff space, and too expensive. I wouldn't mind getting a mini for when I am working out. If I can find a mini real cheap, I may get one. I may get the new ipod but the video resolution could be better.
