Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, but have been comming here for advice for a while. I''m looking to buy a laptop, and I was wondering if anyone was getting rid of their old one, or could recommend a decent one for me to buy.

the specs I was looking for are as follows,

40 gig hard drvie or more 5400 RPM

min 512 RAM

Pentium 4 1.8 and up, or centrino or P4 -M (whatever) lol

radeon 9000 or 9600 (is it worth spending about 100 bucks more to get a 128 MB radeon 9600 as opposed to 64 MB 9000???)

UXGA or SXGA screen 15 inches or more....

Decent battery life...

cdrw/dvd of course

wireless LAN/ethernet if possible
hmmmm... not too sure what else.... If anyone can help me out that'd be great, any advice would be greatly appreciated...
I'm looking to spend about 1400 USD (or less)
Thanks in advance :P
