Sony VIO GTR 250/270 Series

Hi,

I just ordered this Sony with the following specs:

16.1 UXGA XBRITE screen, P4 2.8, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB HD at 7200 RPM, DVD burner, etc. Everything was around $2150.00.
The main thing for me was the UXGA screen and the XBRITE technology. I did not see any screens with it, but some reviews said that it is great! Anyone knows anything about these computers? I was thinking to buy an Sager 8890 but the screen seemed to be better on this computer. I also looked at a Dell Inspiron 8600 with WUXGA and a Centrino but again, the screen at Sony tipped the balance! For something between $2000 and $2500 can I get something better?

Yup those screens are tighhhhhhhhhhht! I saw one in Best Buy last night...looked damn crisp and clear....the Toshiba CASV screens are still better though...

Well, they may be but I did not find a laptop with them! Do you know of a company selling them? I still can cancel my order if I can get something better...

naw...like you said way hard to find...I stick by your decision on that Sony...great screen on that too...I was just saying...CASV is the !@#$
