WARNING: Avoid The Following Traders - Page 4

avoid Ebay trader Morningsunny at all costs. He sold me a repackaged Soundblaster X-Fi and claimed it new. You can even see the second taping over the first on both the box and the card. He packaged the product in a box twice the size of the X-Fi box and used no packing so.... box was damaged upon arrival. At least the damn card works.

And he had enough nerve to email me back and tell me the UPC code was removed for promotional purposes. Well, that wasnt the problem. The repacking and the shipping problems were my main concern. If you look at the feedback, you will see he is quite the brainchild.

You have been Warned.
Stay away from Peter007.
He is using someone elses Heatware account that hasn't been online for a few weeks.
The Heatware owner has excellent Heatware and this bozo noticed he doesn't have an account here and openned one under the same name.
The Owner of the Heatware account has contacted me saying he's never been on this forum.

Yeah, that works if we all lived in the same small town, pal. Next time you want to buy something from me, I'll be waiting for you to come on over to my place. We can sit down and chat. Have some tea or something. Just make sure you check Google Maps for my address before you leave- don't want you gettin' lost.

Although a PITA, this is easily preventable if the account hasn't been hacked. Before a deal (especially a spendy one- like a PC), you should email the Heatware account and/or the eBay accounts of whoever you're dealing with to make sure they belong to who they say they do. It's not a perfect solution, but it's better than being taken by a scammer.

Well I am reluctant to post this but I have a bad deal going with DARKLOKI. On 9/13 I traded him a M1710 power brick for $20 and a personalization shield with Optimus Prime insert. He paypal'ed me the $20 then insisted I send him the power brick first which I did. He forgot he was including the Transformer insert and He stated a couple of times that he lost my address and I PM'ed it back to him. After a few weeks I inquired on the status of the shield and he stated that he sent it to the wrong address. He then offered to paypal me another $20 and still send me the shield. I still have the PM's.

Well it has now been a few weeks again and now DARKLOKI is not responding to any of my PM's though he has been online and posting. A deal is a deal and if you dont plan on coming through, dont deal in the first place.

And now I have a damn scratch on my pretty red top. Im pissed.

I wouldnt deal with Darkloki. Seems a bit shady to me. Definately dont send anything first.
