Pentium M

I am an accounting and comp sci major (first year)-so this needs to last me all four years. I want the best my money can buy, but I want the price to be below $800. If you have any suggestions, that would be great!

Do you know if he knows a lot about notebooks? For instance, does he know notebooks by brand? What does he have?
comp sci is more about software than hardware (more electrical engineering).
And most compsci majors don't know much about desktop/notebooks.
Anyway, if you want to impress him, I say try not to impress him.
If you really want to impress him with a notebook (god that sound weird), and he indeed know much about notebooks, then I say the best way for you to impress him is to demonstrate your ability to choose a notebook that is most efficient for your needs. Dell, HP, Acer, Compaq, etc will not impress him if he is that tech savvy.
