Intel or AMD??? for FL & Reason 3.0 ???

I rock reason 3.0 and cubase rewired. Also because of my vst collection i make a a few beats on FL my next notebook will be for beat making and web.
I heard AMD is it for music production? how do you guys feel bout it?

I use:

Reason 3.0
Recycle
FL Studio
VST's galore!!!
cubase sx

Intel. For the simple fact that it is more productive in rendering and similar jobs than AMD.

Either one is fine, it doesn't matter.

right-o. unless you are running 50 vst's all at once, all with varying parameters. you wont see a difference between the two processor brands. just go with whoever you like. chevy or ford.

On all the AMD'sI've checked out they all hade better IRQ configurations than the Pentiums, including the Centrinos, but whether or not that is of concern in real-world use....who really knows....

AMD's are generally louder and run hot, at least that's what I've read.. I've experienced that with older amd's.

Pentium-M's very quiet...


ALl that being said, I'm using a pentium m 1.6 and it's been pretty good.
