You can't buy it, when you try to build you get this message:

Sorry, but the model you have chosen to custom build is now end of line and will be phasing out soon.
Please try another model.

Its not a Sager, but some of their other models do look like a sager.

Its still available, its a new model but there website is pretty dodgy at the best of times

They use ECS/Clevo/Compal ODM's but I dont know who make this one

I think Sager are all Clevo's

I use a BenQ Joybook 6000 and its build quality is top notch (Quanta ODM) but I'm reluctant in buying one of these 8000 if I cant get a review on them

I like Compal's build quality but Clevo and ECS are little dodgy at times and I wasnt happy with Uniwill either

mate,

go to www.p4laptops.com.au - an ITC reseller in Australia (Perth i think)

I bought a 7150 from them and the service was sweet, free processor upgrade when they did not have stock of the one i ordered and a free upgrade to a DVD-RW drive when they had run out of stock of the non DVD-RW version.

Speak to Matt in sales he is very helpful....

I am an ITC Reseller, been selling there Notebooks for about a year and half, but they wont tell me who the ODM is and I never buy or recomend unknown products

Im not going to buy one in and find its crap, so far none of the Models I have sold people around AU I have liked and would personaly use except for the Metabox 523, its a nice solidly built machine (Compal ODM)

Im probably a little more picky than most but I want to upgrade my own setup, and I can buy these wholesale and the latest BenQ s72 I have to buy retail and they work out to be the same price, so its either go for a top quality unit but with dismal specs or its go with an unknown with unbeleivable specs

I really want a 6600 and the Joybook has a x600 which seems no quicker than a MR 9700, almost usless for decent gaming like CSS or BF2

So if anyone knows who the ODM is, it would be most apricated
