Ethernet Hiccups

I'm not sure why, but my 5680's ethernet connection seems to have a case of hiccups. On Downloads it will intermittenly cut out, stopping anything that can't be resumed. Fairly often picts or pages will only partially load, requiring a couple of refreshes to fix. I'm on a network at school, but my roommate suffers none of these problems on his computer, so it shouldn't be completely at fault.

Any Suggestions?

It could be a bad connection with the port to the mobo. If it "jiggles" when you wiggle, that's likely it. NIC connections are notoriously weak - and getting weaker. See if gentle movement restores the connection.
