I was just curious if this was a good price or not.

1.73/WUXGA LCD panel (highest option)/512 2ddr(replacing that in a jiffy)/8xdvd/128x300/60gb 7.2k/9-cell/1 year warranty

1,277.20 SHIPPED

I'm giving up on the Powerbook, and going back to PC (It helps that I need a PC for my online classes as well)

It is for a 9300

Don't worry. I paid a lot more for mine, but still think it was a better choice for me to get the 6000d over the 9300 because I need to tote it back and forth from classes.

Yeah, considering the lack of good coupons now, it's a pretty good price.

For my, I ended up paying around 1600 alone for my i6000d.

Granted:

A) I live in Canada, so our prices are a bit higher and we don't get the coupons that you get from Dell USA

B) I ended up having to pay a kidney to get a 60 GB 7200 RMP drive.

okay, I think I am gonna pull the trigger on this.

Sucks that the powerbook can't do some of the classes I am taking.

I could get the 700M or the 17" model for the same prices

I'm going back to school any going to be toting this around with my daily, but I will have the LARGE battery, do you think it should suffice?

I got my 700m for about $718 shipped. Added RAM, replaced HDD and DVD burner ( about $300).

The best I could do on 9300 was $1400. Of course WUXGA and nvidia 6800.

Check Dell Small Business you can sometimes get a little better deal through it.

512 Ram
24x cd burner
Ultra sharp WXUGA+ Display--- I think, its the one thats $125 more...

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum

I just ordered a 6000 from the UK, with 1.73 Pentium M, 512MB memory, 80GB hard drive, 128MB graphic card, internal 8Xdvd+/-RW driver, and 1 year collect and return service. It costs £751 after tax and shipping.

Is it an alright deal?
Someone says I could have asked for free stuff such as a laptop case, but I didn't know about that. Has anyone done that?
