CPU upgrade Cosmio g15-AV501

Is it possible to upgrade the centrino 745 (1.8 ghz) to a 755 (2.0 ghz) in the G15? I know it's only a small improvement, but that is all I need to be able to view WMHD DVDs on this machine. It will play the 720hd disks but not the highest res, without stuttering. It's definitely the processor, because the taskmanager indicates it maxing out every few seconds. The FSB is 400mhz for both processors, and someone said a european version of the G15 AV501 was released with the 2.0 ghz CPU. Are the CPUs socketed ? I would think they would have to be, but who knows. The price point for the 755 CPU has come down recently too.
I would be interested in anyone who has ripped apart their Cosmio G15 AV501
Thanks,
Teri

Did Try to Upgrade to 2.00GHZ Processor

Disassembly of the Qosimo G15 was relatively straight forward. Although every screw had to come out, and every ribbon cable needed to be disconnected, everything separated easily, and nothing was broken. One nice thing Toshiba did was label all the screw holes with the size of the screw that was needed. If you have less then a photographic memory, this comes in handy.
Now for the bad news. The 2.00 GHZ processor ran at a core clock speed of 660 mhz. The processor ID'd as a 2.00 ghz but ran slower then the 1.8 is capable of running at it's slowest speed. No dip switches are on the mother board, and I didnt see any jumpers. So without a service manual, I was stuck, and put it back together the way it was. I tried all the different performance settings through the powersaver software, but the voltage the processor ran at was always .996v. I am writing this a couple weeks after I tried the upgrade, so don't quote me on the voltage or the core clock speed. Might have been .986v.
So if any of you have more information on modifying the G15 I would be interested in your experience or expertise.
