can i change my 5680's graphics card?

hey everyone. im new to this place and you all seem knowledgable about this computer that i have. i have the ati 9600 graphics card with no DVI and i recently bought a HDTV that has a DVI input. i would like to upgrade to a 256 mb graphics card with dvi. if it is possible please let me know and let me know where i can get the upgrade chip if possible. thanks a lot!

Well unless you want to replace the entire mobo to a 5690. If it's still available. Other wise nope not gonna happen.

Sorry I miss read your post The 5690 does not have dvi out. I don't know what to tell you. If it's that important you will have to find a laptop that has DVI out.
