CHC causing my s360 to crash

I am trying to undervolt with CHC and everytime I set the 12x voltage the blue screen of death comes up....I tried to set at .844

comments? Also my computer has been crashing randomly at various times, I wonder if CHC is causing this? lack of power?

Thanks

My 12x undervolted setting for a 1.86 Sonoma is 1.020 (1.260 stock). The 1.7 P-M 12x stock setting is 1.228. I think 0.844 is way too low, try at least 1.004.

Good luck.

increase the volage in CHC. You might change it in the config file (lying somewhere in the CHC folder, open with notepad and try to manually change it, or delete it if you want to reset everything)

i know this is a really old topic but i want to revive it because centrino hardware control is still causing my s360 to crash...here is what usually happens:

running on batteries with chc...everything is fine nothing crash or anything. then continue to run chc once it is plugged in and as soon as run anything graphics intensive: windows media player, java scripts.....it crashes blue screen comes up

You probably set the voltage too low. My CPU doesn't undervolt well (Dothan 1.5/S170). I can only set 6x to 0.764 without instability.

you see the really weird thing is that it doesn't crash if chc is running with battery but only crash when chc is running when plugged in....

what version of chc are you using? when i tried updating my chc to the one after ver.1.8.2 it started to crash. so i went back to 1.8.2 and its worked like a charm. It wasn't crashing all the time but only when i lowered the voltage enough. if your tring the ver1.9 change over to the older 1.8.2 nonbeta and see if that helps
