hey guys, i have a question...iknow the 7800 is going to be awsome, but it still used DX 9 technology (9.0c but 9.0 nonetheless)...so does it really matter to jump from a dx9 card to a dx9 card? I mean there is nothing there that is completly revolutionary, is there? I know that nvidia added some new stuff, but its nothing thats going to take my breath away except for extra frames in games due to the extra pipelines...

So heres my position on this, I am going to wait for a card that has DX10 hardware enabled...so games will take on a new meaining...working from this video i saw in an earlier post. http://www.notebookforums.com/showth...highlight=DX10..im going to wait...

6xxx cards wont benefit much from a dx10 card, cuz their not dx10 hardware compliant. so all that new technology on dx10 has to be hardware accelerated, something a 6xxx card cannot do, but i could be wrong tho so someone correct me if i am
