This is what happened with BIOS A05.

This screenshot was taken after my game display started to shift around and I know is was the heat cause it.

I quickly quit the game by end tasking, and I took at screenshot of this. I was able to take the shot.

The temp hit over 90'C on my GPU and all those this in the screenshot.

Too much OC?

90 degrees on the GPU? Do you know if the fan was running? Also, what monitoring programs have you got running - are you using i9kfangui and/or CHC (or whatever it's called now?)

If you have a GPU that just runs hot anyway, it might pay to set the fans to high all the time when you're gaming.

One other thought - remember that overvolt you did?

zoom zoom - one user reports bad results (that are not necessarily linked to A05) and it's therefore a bad BIOS? okidoki....

Guys, general rule about BIOS's: if it ain't broke and you don't want one one of the newly listed features, leave it as it is. Also, wait for others to install it first

Guys, yes I was using I9kfangui latest version running all MAX my temp still goes up to 81'C.

I didn't change anything of my Core/Mem speed. In A04.. the max temp was 72'C in the way of playing the same game.

A05 suks for ME only...

Just download the A04 bios and run it just like when you updated to A05....it's simple.

A05 for the XPS 2 is fine. I had WoW up all day, and temperatures don't look any different, at least while idling.
