Formating the XPS Gen 2...need a little help

Thread Starter
I've never owned a computer I didn't build untill now...so I wanna be sure i got the steps down before I do this...

is the HD SATA? Where can i get the drivers for the hd if this is true? I know windows wont see it without the drivers.....so any opinions?

Anything else i should know about this gen 2?

don't worry about sata drivers,

format, put the windos cd in , boot from it and install

after you install , make sure you install the chipset drivers first and all the other drivers ,

everything will be fine

would it make a performance difference if you did the graphics card first and then the chipset?
