Yeah that is the same drive I am using, the External Maxtor One Touch 300 GB drive.
I didn't realize that the Backup that Retrospect was doing was just for restore purposes. I assumed it was another functional drive backup. Anyway I guess I can just add some files and use this gigantic drive as a Mass Storage device.
I mostly bought it for itunes, since I have the 60 GB ipod photo and it is almost full already. Thanks for the info. I just tried writing a single file to the E Drive (the Maxtor) and it wrote and reads just fine, so I guess I can just use it for both the Restore function as well as a Mass Storage device.
